this resonates with me so much! i’ve come to realize that silencing myself all those many years ago as a little girl, has not served me well now as an adult. in finding my voice, it has been risky business. i like to think of my voice today as “baby Dana...and she’s only 5yrs old.” just as a toddler learns to walk and how to process emotions to speak for themselves, i am she. i am making mistakes, coming across as abrasive, etc BUT, i am also a Phoenix rising from the ashes in my learning through this process. Grace has been a gentle companion on this journey.

“One of the consequences of learning to use your voice after years of silence is that you don’t always know how to do it well. At times, I came off too abrasive, too unyielding, too judgmental. But I embraced the mistakes as part of the process of learning to own my power.” #TheVoiceOfWomen

Thank you for your words and moving into your power!
