Welcome to A Sacred Season
Join us as we reclaim sacred self-care as a Lenten practice
Beginning on Monday, February 12, this online study of Sacred Self-Care takes us on a transformative journey of self-discovery and spiritual nourishment. In this seven week exploration, we delve into the wisdom of the book, discovering practical and soulful ways to integrate self-care practices into the Lenten season. This study combines discussion forums and Zoom gatherings to provide a supportive community where participants can share insights, reflections, and personal experiences. Through the lens of sacred self-care, we aim to deepen our connection with God, cultivate mindfulness, and foster a renewed commitment to nurturing our whole selves during this sacred season of the Christian year. Join us in this meaningful exploration and let the pages of Sacred Self-Care guide you toward a more intentional wellness journey throughout and beyond Lent.
Participants will receive:
Weekly wisdom from Dr. Chanequa, including tips for deepening your self-care practices
Daily prompts related to the day's reading and practice
Support from an online community of self-care sojourners
Access to Zoom events (planned for February 17 and March 30 at 11am ET)

I’m looking forward to sharing this sacred season with you!
Our sacred season of self-care should be every day and year round. In order to get there, we start with the first step of acknowledging the fatigue and how God invites us to rest. I call it justly and holy rest. God invited me into it, while I was sitting on a rock trying to hike to Arthur’s Seat in Scotland. What a wake up call!!
